Disassembling Nikon Coolpix 5600 Flash Unit

Remove the screws from the bottom, right, and left side of camera.

Remove the back of the camera, this may require force.

Unscrew the right metal bracket of the viewing lens

Unscrew the top right corner screw

Unscrew the bottom right corner screw.

Pull the grey circular facet that sits on the bottom outside of the camera off - may have to use force.

Pull the front of the camera off of the mother board.

Unscrew the grey plastic around the screen

Twist the grey bracket counterclockwise to remove it from the silver LCD bracket.

Maneuver to detach the flash bulb.

Unscrew the metal bracket under the lens

Slide the plastic bracket through the metal bracket.

Pull the black tape off.

Unscrew the two screws underneath.
