Joseph Karikkassery
Joseph Karikkassery (* 13. Februar 1946 in Karthedom) ist Bischof von Kottapuram.
Leben
Joseph Karikkassery empfing am 8. Februar 1981 die Priesterweihe. Papst Benedikt XVI. ernannte ihn am 25. November 2006 zum Titularbischof von Buxentum und Weihbischof in Verapoly.
Der Erzbischof von Verapoly, Daniel Acharuparambil OCD, spendete ihm am 28. Dezember desselben Jahres die Bischofsweihe; Mitkonsekratoren waren Maria Callist Soosa Pakiam, Erzbischof von Trivandrum, und Francis Kallarakal, Bischof von Kottapuram.
Am 18. Dezember 2010 wurde er zum Bischof von Kottapuram ernannt und am 13. Februar des nächsten Jahres in das Amt eingeführt.
