Ammayi Pelli

Ammayi Pelli (transl.Daughter's Marriage) is a 1974 Indian Telugu-language comedy film, produced and directed by Bhanumathi Ramakrishna under the Bharani Pictures banner.[2] It stars Bhanumathi and N. T. Rama Rao,[3] with music also composed by Bhanumathi Ramakrishna in association with Satyam.[4]

Plot

The film begins with an ideal couple Advocate Raghuram & Dr. Lalitha that lead a delightful life with their 3 children. Currently, they select two different mathes for their daughter Padmini / Puppy i.e., their juniors Lawyer Sitaram & Dr. Rajaram respectively. Anyhow, Puppy is already in crush with a young charm, Ravi the son of Raghava Rao dear friend of Raghuram. As of now, a conflict arises with ego clash which leads to their divorce. Then Raghuram suggests living separately for 2 months by sharing the children. The rest of the story is a comic tale, that parents target to combine their juniors with Puppy, and children are trying to reunite with their parents. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Ravi & Puppy.
