He was born on 12 May 1929 in Adlington, United Kingdom.
He died on 6 August 2015 in Canada.
Career
He graduated from St. Francis Xavier University.
For most of his life, he was a professor of history at the University of Alberta. His area of specialization is Ancient Roman history.[1]
