Faruque Ahmed

Faruque Ahmed is a British Bengali community historian and literary critic based out of Enfield, United Kingdom.[1] Born to Terabun Nissa and Kutub Ali, Ahmed received his education from Madan Mohan College, and later migrated to the United Kingdom in 1989 as a scriptwriter, lyricist, and playwright. Faruque has been involved in Bengali literary and cultural activities in Bangladesh and in the UK for over three decades now.[2]

Ahmed is a recipient of the 2013 Bangla Academy NRB Writer's Award.[3][4]
