Kimani Tariq White, known professionally as FlightReacts, is an American YouTuber, rapper, and sports commentator. In 2014, White first began posting reaction videos to viral content, becoming known for his persona, hyperactivity, and "ridiculous faces".[3] Since 2018, White has predominantly published content based on NBA and the NBA 2K series, with outlets categorizing him as a sports commentator. In 2020, he was signed by United Talent Agency.[4]

Career

White has released reaction and gaming content since 2014. Clips of his reactions and voice clips have since gone viral as internet memes, typically repurposed. A notable example is a clip of White exclaiming "Damn Daniel" going viral in 2021.

In 2020, American fast food chain Wendy's and White released a tie-in "Signature Meal" that utilized his likeness for a cross-promotion.[6]

Also in 2020, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry made a reference to a running joke that originated from a FlightReacts video.[7]

Personal life

White grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida and attended Palm Beach Central High School, where he played basketball.

White is the father of one child, a daughter born in 2021.[8]
