Godak minaret

The Godak minaret (Azerbaijani: Gödək minarə) is a quarter mosque with a minaret, located in the historical and architectural reserve of Yukhary-bash,[1] in the Sarytorpag mahalla of Sheki, Azerbaijan, on 18 Sarytorpag Str.[2] According to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on historical and cultural monuments, it is a "historical and cultural monument of local importance".[3][4]

The mosque and the minaret were built in the 19th century. Until recently, a kindergarten functioned in the building of the mosque. Subsequently, the kindergarten was moved to another building, and the Gedek Minaret was renovated.[5]
