Jammu Metro
The Jammu Metro is a light rail transit proposed for the city of Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India by Housing and Urban Department of the Union Territory of J&K. The project will cost Rs 4825 cr. In phase 1. A Total route of 43.50 km has been proposed. It will have 4 lines and will be completed in two phases. It will have 22 stations. It is expected to be completed in 2026.[1][2]

Jammu and Kashmir state government has planned to introduce a metro rail system in city of Jammu. The government had hired an infrastructure development enterprise, RITES to conduct a traffic analysis.[4] The government has planned to approach Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for a detailed project including feasibility and financial viability.[5]
Construction
The oficial plan is expected to be launched in 2022-23. Construction will be started thereafter,[6] along with Srinagar Metro.

The project will be completed in two separate phases.[7]

Phase 1 will have two lines.
Line 1 : Bantalab -satwari- Greater Kailash
