Klikk is an Indian subscription video on-demand and over-the-top streaming service, owned and managed by Angel Television Pvt. Ltd. popularly known as “Angel Video” and Angel Digital”. Klikk was officially launched on 10th November 2020 worldwide and is currently available on Web, Android, iOS, Amazon Fire TV, Xiaomi, Mi TV, and many more platforms.[1][2] It has also tied- up with various leading telecom, Multiple-system operators (MSOs), and content players to stay ahead of the curve. We are here to celebrate the Bengali entertainment achieve of all time., “Amar OTT Amar Bhasay”.[3][4][5]

History

Founded in the year 1986, Angel Television Private Limited, headquarters in Kolkata, India, started its business with movie acquisitions and within a few years it went on to become India's first distributor of VHS in Bengali Films.

In the year 2020, when Klikk launched, its digital on-demand entertainment platform, the company got transformed into a fully vertically integrated studio.[6]

On 10th November 2020, a launching ceremony was held with a select few due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown and Klikk started its journey with a motto - #JokhonTokhon. Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Srijit Mukherji, Haranath Chakraborty, and many more stars were present in this opening ceremony.[7]

A short videos sharing mobile app Chingari was collaborated with Klikk in 2021.[8]

KliKK is currently available for Android, iOS, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Roku and Mi TV.

Content

The service is available in an ad-free version having the largest content library which includes original shows, films, music, short films, audio stories, Kid's animation, and more. Klikk focuses specifically on the Bengali audience by offering original web series with English subtitles, short films, Bengali Video songs, and animated films along with a library of over 1000 Bengali language films across all genres. Content is available for all age groups.[9][10]
