Malti Chahar

Malti Chahar is an Indian actress and model.[1] She is also the elder sister of Indian Crickter Deepak Chahar.[2][3] She made her Bollywood debut with Hindi film Genius in 2018.

Early life and education

Malti Chahar was born in 1990 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Her father, Lokendra Singh Chahar is retired from the Indian Air Force and her mother, Pushpa Chahar is a homemaker.[4][5] She has one younger sibling Deepak Chahar, who is a famous Indian Cricketer. She also has one younger cousin Rahul Chahar who also is a famous Indian Cricketer.[6]

She has done her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. She did her B.Tech. from Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow.[4][5]

Career

She has been a finalist of Miss India in 2014 and second runner up of Miss Delhi in 2014.[7][8]

She made her Bollywood debut as an actor with Hindi film Genius in 2018 directed by Anil Sharma.[9][10] Her upcoming film is Hush directed by Ashu Trikha as main lead.[11][12]

She gained sudden fame in 2018 during a CSK match in IPL when one cameraman spotted her cheering for her brother Deepak Chahar.[13][14][15][16]
