Matai Hakor

Matai Hakor[1] is a mountain located in the Khagrachari district of southeastern Bangladesh[2][3][4] Matai Hakar is located in a large area and a part of it is known as Alutila which is one of the tourist destinations in Khagrachari.

Location

The mountain is located in Matiranga Upazila in Khagrachari Hill District of southeastern Bangladesh.[5] Matai Hakor is 8 km from Khagrachari main town Located in Matiranga upazila in the west. Matai Hakar is 3000 thousand feet above sea level.[6] Matai Hakor is the highest mountain in Khagrachari district. Matai Hakar is the gateway to the hill town of Khagrachari. The whole of Khagrachari city can be seen from Matai Hakar.
