Syed Ali Imam

Sir Syed Ali Imam, KCSI (11 February 1869 – 31 October 1932), also known as Sir Saiyid Ali Imam, was an Indian lawyer and freedom fighter who represented India at the round table of 1929. He served as Prime Minister of Hyderabad State.[1] He was one of the founders of Modern Bihar.[2]

The son of Nawab Syed Imdad Imam and the brother of Syed Hasan Imam, he was called to the English bar by the Middle Temple in 1890.[3][4] He was a Law member of the Imperial Legislative Council and judge of Patna High Court. Imam served as President of Muslim League. He was knighted in 1908.[5] He offered to make Delhi, the National capital of India.[6] His tomb is at Kokar Chowk in Hazaribagh road.[6][7][8][9][10]
