Launched in 1996, Tasty Bite manufactures and markets over 30 different ready-to-eat Indian and pan-Asian food products across 4 categories: entrées, rice, noodles, and meal inspirations. The products range from traditional Indian dishes such as a Chana Masala to fusion items such as the Tofu Corn Masala. Packaging

Sealed in a multi-layer retort pouch, Tasty Bite products have a shelf life of up to 18 months. During the manufacturing process, the pouches are filled with food, sealed, and cooked in a retort oven under high temperature and pressure. The sealing and construction of the pouch ensure that no bacteria or other degrading factors can affect the food – it is sterilized inside the pouch. This process also ensures high retention of the food's original aroma, texture, nutrients, and flavor. The pouches are BPA-free. Tasty Bite products are manufactured at its Bhandgaon plant, about 68 miles outside of Pune, India. The vegetables used are grown on a private farm owned and managed by the company.
