Abū Ishāq Ibrāhīm al-Zarqālī
Abū Isḥāq Ibrāhīm ibn Yaḥyā al-Naqqāsh al-Zarqālī al-Tujibi[1], juga dikenal sebagai Al-Zarkali atau Ibn Zarqala (1029–1087), adalah seorang pembuat instrumen, astrolog, dan salah satu astronom utama Muslim Arab[2][3][4] utama pada masanya. Meskipun namanya secara konvensional disebut sebagai al-Zarqālī, bentuk sebenarnya diyakini adalah al-Zarqālluh.[5] Dalam bahasa Latin, ia disebut sebagai Arzachel atau Arsechieles, sebuah bentuk modifikasi dari Arzachel, yang artinya 'engravir'.[6] Ia tinggal di Toledo, Al-Andalus sebelum pindah ke Córdoba pada masa berikutnya. Karyanya menginspirasi generasi astronom Islam di Al-Andalus.
