Al Anderson (NRBQ)

Alan Gordon Anderson (lahir 7 Februari 1957 ) adalah seorang gitaris, penyanyi, dan penulis lagu Amerika. Pada 1960-an, Anderson adalah vokalis band The Wildweeds,[1] yang sukses dengan lagu "No Good To Cry",[2] yang ditulisnya. Antara 1971 dan awal 1990-an, dia adalah gitaris utama di band rock NRBQ, juga merilis beberapa album solo. Dia juga bermain gitar elektrik di album tahun 1973 milik Jonathan Edwards'.

Pada 1990-an, Anderson mengalihkan fokusnya ke musik country, menulis lagu-lagu hit untuk artis seperti Carlene Carter, Vince Gill, Diamond Rio dan Trisha Yearwood, serta Tim McGraw hit nomor 1 "The Cowboy in Me" dan beberapa potongan album. Anderson juga telah merilis enam album solo.[3]
