Fox memulai karier juniornya di klub Everton, kemudian memulai karier seniornya di klub tersebut. Selama berada di Everton sempat dipinjamkan ke Gateshead dan Stranraer sebelum pindah ke Walsall, Coventry City,[2] Celtic[3] dan Burnley.[4] Kemudian pada tahun 2011 bergabung dengan Southampton.[5]
