Fatih Akın

Fatih Akin (kelahiran 25 Agustus 1973) adalah seorang sutradara, penulis latar dan produser Jerman. Ia adalah keturunan Turki.[1][2]

Kehidupan pribadi

Akin lahir pada 1973 di Hamburg dari orang tua beretnis Turki.[3] Ia masuk Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg untuk mempelajari komunikasi visual dan lulus pada 2000.

Fatih Akin telah menikah sejak 2004 dengan aktris Jerman-Meksiko Monique Obermüller dan tinggal di Hamburg-Altona, di mana ia juga dibesarkan.[2] Saudaranya, Cem Akin merupakan seorang aktor.
