Friedrich Bessel
Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel (22 Juli 1784 – 17 Maret 1846 ) adalah seorang ahli matematika, astronomi dan perumus Fungsi Bessel yang sebelumnya dicetuskan oleh Daniel Bernoulli. Di bidang astronomi, Bessel merupakan orang pertama yang menggunakan parallax dalam mengkalkulasi jarak terhadap bintang.
