George Shearing
Sir George Albert Shearing,[1] OBE (13 Agustus 1919 – 14 Februari 2011 ) adalah seorang pianis jazz Inggris yang selama bertahun-tahun memimpin grup jazz populer yang merekam untuk Discovery Records, MGM Records dan Capitol Records. Komposer lebih dari 300 judul, termasuk standar jazz "Lullaby of Birdland" dan "Conception".[2] Ia meninggal akibat penyakit gagal jantung di New York City, pada usia 91.
