Geografi
Gravesend terletak di tepi Sungai Thames, perbukitan North Downs adalah arah selatan.
Kota ini terletak sekitar 35 kilometer dari London, di distrik munisipal Gravesham di Kent (kaunti), di Britania Raya.
Sejarah
Nama Gravesend berasal dari kata bahasa Anglo-Saxon Gerevesend; akhir batas otoritas Portreeve.
Dikenal sebagai tempat di mana Putri Pocahontas meninggal tahun 1617.[1] Jalur KA dibuka pada tahun 1849.
