Harold Lasswell

Harold Dwight Lasswell (13 Februari 1902 – 18 Desember 1978 )adalah seorang ilmuwan politik terkemuka Amerika Serikat dan seorang pencetus teori komunikasi. Dia juga adalah seorang profesor di Chicago School of Sociology, Yale University, Selain itu dia juga adalah Presiden Asosiasi Ilmu Politik Amerika (APSA) dan Akademi Seni dan Sains Dunia (WAAS). Lasswell termasuk sebagai inovator kreatif dalam ilmu-ilmu sosial pada abad kedua puluh.
