Harvey Milk

Harvey Bernard Milk (22 Mei 1930 – 27 November 1978 ) adalah seorang politikus Amerika yang menjadi orang gay terbuka pertama yang terpilih pada jabatan publik di California, saat ia memenangkan sebuah kursi pada Badan Petinggi San Francisco. Kegiatan politik dan gay bukanlah peminatan awalnya; ia tidak terbuka mengenai homoseksualitasnya dan tidak ikut dalam kegiatan sipil sampai usia 40 tahun, setelah pengalamannya dalam pergerakan kontra-budaya pada 1960an.
