Jabril bin Bukhtishu

Jabril bin Bukhtishu, (Jibril bin Bakhtisha) juga disebut sebagai Bakhtyshu, adalah seorang dokter abad ke-8 dan ke-9 dari keluarga dokter Nestorian Asiria Bukhtishu dari Akademi Gundishapur. Ia adalah penganut Nestorian[1] dan berbicara dalam bahasa Suryani.[2]

Sebuah folio dari manuskrip terawal Kitāb naʿt al-hayawān, yang diatributkan kepada bin Bukhtishu, yang menggambarkan Aristoteles.

Cucu dari Jirjis bin Jibril, ia hidup pada paruh kedua abad kedelapan.
