Kekerasan negara

Kekerasan negara diartikan sebagai "pemakaian otoritas pemerintah sah yang menyebabkan kerugian dan penderitaan yang tak diperlukan terhadap kelompok, orang, dan negara".[1] Istilah tersebut dapat diartikan secara luas atau sempit untuk merujuk kepada peristiwa-peristiwa seperti genosida,[2] terorisme negara,[3] serangan kendaraan nirawak,[4] kebrutalan polisi,[5] pengawasan negara, atau kekerasan yuridikal.[2]
