Kurkuma

Kurkuma adalah warna yang menyerupai ujung kepala putik atau stigma kuma-kuma yang dijual sebagai rempah-rempah.[2][3] Warna ini merupakan warna utama dalam agama Agama Hindu di India, dimana warna ini dikenal dengan nama Bhagwa.[4] Biksu Buddha dari mazhab Theravāda juga mengenakan kasaya berwarna ini.[5] Kurkuma juga merupakan salah-satu warna yang terdapat dalam Bendera India yang melambangkan kekuatan dan keberanian.[6]
