Lollardy
Lollardy (Lollardisme, gerakan Lollard) adalah sebuah gerakan keagamaan Kristen pra-Protestan yang timbul dari pertengahan abad ke-14 sampai Reformasi Inggris. Gerakan tersebut awalnya dipimpin oleh John Wycliffe,[1] seorang teolog Katolik Roma yang dikeluarkan dari Universitas Oxford pada 1381 karena mengkritik Gereja Katolik. Tuntutan-tuntutan Lollard utamanya adalah untuk reformasi Gereja Barat. Mereka merumuskan keyakinan mereka dalam Dua Belas Kesimpulan Lollard.
Dalam ilustrasi abad ke-19 ini, John Wycliffe ditampilkan memberi terjemahan Alkitab yang menyematkan namanya kepada para pengikut Lollard-nya.
