Michael E. DeBakey
Michael Ellis DeBakey (7 September 1908–11 Juli 2008) adalah seorang dokter bedah jantung, ilmuwan, dan pengajar kedokteran Lebanon-Amerika Serikat.[1] DeBakey merupakan kanselor emeritus Kolese Kedokteran Baylor di Houston, Texas, direktur The Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center, dan dokter bedah senior Rumah Sakit The Methodist di Houston.[2][3][4] Ia bekerja pada pengobatan pasien jantung.[5]

Ia lahir di Lake Charles, Louisiana, pada 7 September 1908,[6] dari imigran Lebanon Shaker dan Raheeja Dabaghi (kemudian di-Anglikanisasi-kan menjadi DeBakey).
