Owen Wilson

Kehidupan awal
Wilson lahir di Dallas, dari fotografer Laura Cunningham Wilson dan Robert Andrew Wilson, seorang eksekutif periklanan dan operator dari sebuah stasiun televisi publik. Dia memiliki kakak, Andrew, dan adik, Lukas. Kedua bersaudara itu juga terlibat dalam pembuatan film. Keluarganya, yang berasal dari Massachusetts, adalah Irlandia Amerika dan Katolik. Wilson kuliah di University of Texas di Austin, tempat dia lulus dengan gelar Bachelor of Arts dalam bahasa Inggris.
Kehidupan Pribadi
Pada tanggal 26 Agustus 2007, Wilson dibawa ke Pusat Kesehatan St. John di tengah laporan tentang usaha bunuh diri. Dia kemudian dipindahkan ke Cedars-Sinai Medical Center di Los Angeles. Pengacaranya menegaskan bahwa dia telah menjalani pengobatan untuk depresi. Beberapa hari kemudian, Wilson menarik diri dari membintangi Tropic Thunder, yang diproduksi oleh dan dibintangi teman yang sering kolaborasi dengannya, Ben Stiller. Setelah mencoba bunuh diri, Wilson berpartisipasi dalam publisitas terbatas dan promosi untuk film-filmnya.
Pada tanggal 10 Januari 2011, perwakilan Wilson mengumumkan bahwa Wilson dan pasangannya, Duell Jade, mengharapkan bayi. Hanya empat hari kemudian, pada tanggal 14 Januari itu menegaskan bahwa Duell telah melahirkan bayi laki-laki di Hawaii yang diberi nama Robert Ford Wilson.
