Richard Porson

Richard Porson (25 Desember 1759 – 25 September 1808 ) adalah seorang sarjana klasik Inggris. Ia adalah penemu Hukum Porson.

Kehidupan awal

Ia lahir di East Ruston, dekat North Walsham, Norfolk, sebagai putra sulung dari Huggin Person. Ibunya adalah putri seorang pembuat sepatu dari desa tetangga Bacton.
