Biografi

Robert lahir pada 3 January 1932,[1] and educated at Robert Gordon's College, Aberdeen, and in South Africa, where he lived from 1947 until 1954 and worked as a draughtsman.Templat:CN

He died on 7 January 2022, four days after his 90th birthday.[2] Tony Blair, Anas Sarwar and Peter Hain paid tribute to him, saying Hughes "embodied all that is best in public service".[3]
