Tembok-tembok penguasa

Tembok-tembok penguasa adalah perbentengan yang dibangun oleh Amenemhat I di nome ke-14 Mesir Hilir untuk melindungi wilayah timur Mesir.[1] Perbentengan ini menggantikan tembok-tembok Snefru dari masa Kerajaan Lama.[2]

Tembok-tembok penguasa disebutkan dalam Kisah Sinuhe[3] dan Nubuat Neferti.[4] Sisa perbentengan ini belum ditemukan hingga saat ini,[5] tetapi beberapa meyakini bahwa kota Sile (Tjaru) merupakan bagian dari tembok-tembok penguasa.
