Nepali Wikipedia

The Nepali Wikipedia (Nepali: नेपाली विकिपिडिया) is the Nepali language edition of Wikipedia, run by the Wikimedia Foundation.[1] As of February 2023 it has 31,168 articles and about 61,000 users, of which 6 are administrators.[2] As of 8 November 2022, the Nepali Wikipedia is the 110st largest Wikipedia.[2]

History

The Nepali Wikipedia was established on 3 June 2002, one year after the English Wikipedia was started, and it was among the first language of South Asia to have its own Wikipedia.[3][4]
