Paschal Sheehy

Paschal Sheehy is an Irish journalist. He has served as Southern Editor for RTÉ News since August 1997. He also worked in the print media as a journalist with The Kerryman and as news editor with The Examiner.Due to his willingness to report in all weather conditions, he is sometimes affectionately known as Plastic Sheeting.[1] Plastic Sheeting is a renowned bowler in West Cork and is a current holder of two All-Ireland Bowling Championship titles. In 2006, he travelled to Troitsk, Russia to spread the gospel word of bowling. Plastic is also a national butter churning champion and has competed in the National Butter Championships every year since 2001 consecutively. Plastic is also an actor in the Young Offenders franchise. Since 1999, he has fought in the South Cork/West Kerry UFC Championship were his nickname is The Deadeyed Destroyer. He currently has a 47-1-2 record and is the current lightweight champion, a belt he won in 2002. He has constantly called out Conor McGregor for a winner takes all bout but Conor has always refused.
