Rowdy Inspector
Rowdy Inspector is a 1992 Telugu-language action film produced by T. Trivikrama Rao under the Vijayalakshmi Art Pictures banner and directed by B. Gopal. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vijayashanti, and music composed by Bappi Lahiri.[1][2] The film was dubbed in Tamil as Auto Rani with a comedy subplot involving Senthil.[3]

Plot
The film begins with a sincere stout-hearted cop Ramaraju who crushes a plucky auto driver Rani and she too encounters the offenses in society. Plus, Ramaraju transforms goons of a cruel ruffian Bobarlanka Ramabrahmam and provides them with a new life. Once, Narasimham younger one of Ramabrahmam teases a student Jyoti when a lecturer slaps him. So, he gets him suspended. Gandhi the sibling of Ramaraju a students' union leader moves against the iniquity. Jyoti maintains silence due to fear of Narasimham but Gandhi still stands firm. Hence, Ramaraju charges him when she speaks out. Accordingly, Master retrieves his position, and Narasimham is restricted. Meanwhile, Bobarlanka Ramabrahmam lands in the city that rules the terrain with aid of Home Minister Karanam Kaasiah.
Being cognizant of Ramaraju’s steps he attempts to intimidate him by inroading on his grandmother. During this, Gandhi’s lecturer rescues her. Instantly, Ramaraju reprisals on him. Ramabrahmam deputes a wicked SP who seeks to play false Ramaraju but in vain. Since he is reinforced by generous DIG Jaganatham. In the interim, Ramabrahmam learns about his brother’s issue. As per his steering, Narasimham abducts Jyoti with the sidekick Rakhi. A lady constable Kanaka views it but sadly she is too clutched by them. Currently, Ramaraju starts his investigation thereon, he identifies the bodies of two via Rani and seizes Narasimham & Rakhi. On the way to court Ramabrahmam attacks and the culprits abscond. At that point, Ramaraju shoots which misfires, and accidentally Gandhi's lecturer dies. Later, Ramaraju perturbs out of contrition and moves to own the lecturer's family mother Parvatamma & sister Girija. Reciprocally he receives their hatred as they consider him a homicide.
Alongside, the knaves' ruse to dethrone Ramaraju for which they artificially provoke Gandhi and went on a hard strike. Since it had not functioned Ramabrahmam's men threaten the Master's family to participate in the protest when Ramaraju rescues them. Like this, Parvatamma & Gandhi understands his virtue. Next, Ramaraju is on the verge to catch hold of Rakhi slyly SP slays him. Upon this, a brawl erupts between the two, and the home minister commands DIG to suspend Ramaraju which he denies. Then, the conceited home minister hits him, and furious Ramaraju ignites. Exploiting it, Ramabrahmam slaughters DIG and incriminates Ramaraju. Now, the entire police department is at his side exiling their duties. Parallelly, Gandhi accumulates the pieces of evidence by upholding Rani and proceeds to meet the Chief Minister. In between, he is abducted when Rani shields him. At trial, the Home minister fakes charges over Ramaraju when he flares up and admits to uncovering the reality. Just then, Rani arrives with Gandhi with proof. Suddenly, Ramabrahmam onslaughts inwards wiping out the Home Minister and heavy action occurs. At last, Ramaraju & Rani ceases the baddies. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the government honoring Inspector Ramaraju.

Music composed by Bappi Lahiri. Lyrics written by Bhuvanachandra. Music released on Lahari Music Company.[4] The song "Are O Sambha" was recreated for Pataas (2015) by Sai Karthik.[5]
