Sinapali is the main town in Sinapali Tehsil in the south of Nuapada District in Odisha, India.

It is located on the bank of Udanti River, 95 kilometres (59 mi) south of the district headquarters of Nuapada (via road NH59) and 450 km (280 mi) from Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar. The village has a Gram panchayat (local governing council). Its total geographical area is 297 hectares (730 acres).

Economy
Sinapali's economy, like the rest of the Nuapada district, depends mainly upon its agricultural and forestry activities. Locals produce non-timber forest products (NTFP) such as the mahua flower, harida, bahada, and tol. Local agriculture is challenging due to limited irrigation facilities (less than 15%, only half of the state average).[2]

Tourism
Jogimath Brahmanpada, Jharia, Thipakhol, Mulabasa Dam, Liad Project, and Chaura Dangar are the notable tourist areas around Sinapali. Chauta Dangar is the highest mountain range of the Nuapada district, with an elevation of 995 metres (3,264 ft) above sea level. There are many caves and natural areas. The elephant-shaped mountain can be spotted from any part of the region. The Samaleswari temple of Baijalpur, the Durga temple, and the Jagannath temple of Sinapali are also tourist destinations. Chhatar Yatra festival during Dashahara attracts many devotees.
Hanuman Dhara (Makar Chua): It is located in Gandabahali village and has gained a reputation as a popular picnic spot in the local area. There is a Shivling inside the forest which is worshiped in the month of Shravan (July/August), devotees of "Bol Bam" or "Kaudias" Collect water from here and offer it to Lord Shiva Shankar.
Elephant Stone (Hati Pakhan): It is one of the famous historical place of our region, this historical place is 1 km (0.62 mi) away from Gandabahali and is considered to be the oldest elephant stone in undivided Kalahandi district.
Ramgarh Hill is the oldest in the historical place of Gandabahali. It is located in Gandabahali village. The Ramgarh Hill is a popular tourist destination and it is also called worship place of Maa Gadiaan (Goddess of Gandabahali village). According to an ancient belief, Lord Rama's brother Lakshmana and wife Sita resided during the exile.
