Lincoln Cortez Velasquez (born October 27, 1991), better known as Cong TV, is a Filipino YouTuber, comedian, musician, vlogger, and online streamer. He is known for his comedy videos on YouTube.

In this Philippine name, the middle name or maternal family name is Cortez and the surname or paternal family name is Velasquez.

Early life

Lincoln Cortez Velasquez was born on October 27, 1991, to Marlon Velasquez and Jovel Cortez.[6][7]

Career

Cong TV began uploading videos to YouTube in 2008. He started out as a vlogger and rose to fame in the Philippines by uploading comedy skits and parodies to YouTube.[3] He also played the role of Moby in the 2016 Philippine television series My Super D.[8]

Aside from being a vlogger, Cong TV is also a live streamer and a musician.[3][9][10] Cong TV is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Coln, which he formed in 2018.[10] They released their first music video in the same year as well on Cong TV's YouTube channel.[11] On December 3, 2020, Cong TV was included and ranked third on the list of top YouTube ph creators of 2020.[5]

Personal life

Cong TV has three siblings, two of whom are YouTubers as well: Marlon Velasquez, also known as Junnie Boy, and Patricia Velasquez, also known as Neneng Lamig and Venice Velasquez as tyang venice , who have both surpassed one million subscribers on YouTube.[12][13]

In December 2020, Cong TV and his girlfriend and fellow vlogger, Viy Cortez, lost their baby just days after learning of the pregnancy.[14] In December 2021, a year later, Cortez announced on her vlog that she and Cong TV are expecting another baby.[15] On July 5, 2022, Viy Cortez gave Birth to Zeus Emmanuel "Kidlat" Velasquez.[16]
