David Halberstam
David Halberstam (April 10, 1934 – April 23, 2007) merupakan seorang jurnalis, penulis, dan sejarawan pemenang Penghargaan Pulitzer dari Amerika, diketahui ia bekerja saat Perang Vietnam, ia bekerja di bidang politik, sejarah, bisnis, media, kebudayaan Amerika, dan terakhir bekerja sebagai jurnalis olahraga.

Kehidupan awal dan pendidikan
Halberstam lahir di Yonkers, New York dan awalnya tinggal di Winsted, Connecticut, (sekelas dengan Ralph Nader).[1] Pada tahun 1955, dia lulus dari Universitas Harvard dengan gelar sarjana kesenian, dan bekerja sebagai editor managing di The Harvard Crimson.
