Diakritik Yunani
Ortografi Yunani telah memakai sebuah ragam diakritik yang dimulai pada zaman Helenistik. Ortografi politonik (bahasa Yunani: πολυτονικό σύστημα γραφής, translit. politonikó sístima grafís) yang lebih kompleks menotasikan fonologi Yunani kuno. Ortografi monotonik (bahasa Yunani: μονοτονικό σύστημα γραφής, translit. monotonikó sístima grafís) yang lebih sederhana dan diperkenalkan pada 1982, mengikuti fonologi Yunani modern dan hanya mengharuskan dua diakritik.
