FA WSL seri musim semi

FA WSL seri musim semi (bahasa Inggris: FA WSL Spring Series) adalah edisi FA WSL sementara diantara edisi penuh keenam dan ketujuh. Edisi ini digelar pada musim semi dari Februari hingga Mei 2017 untuk mengisi sela antara FA WSL 2016 yang berjalan dari Maret hingga September yang menggunakan kalender musim panas, dan FA WSL 2017–2018 yang menggunakan kalender musim dingin dan dimulai September 2017.[1][2]

Musim 2017–2018 direncanakan diikuti oleh 21 klub,[2] sementara edisi ini diikuti oleh 20 klub. Notts County dibubarkan 2 hari sebelum mengikuti edis ini, sehingga menyisakan 19 tim.[3] Setiap tim akan bermain satu kali melawan semua tim kontestan, dengan tanpa promosi dan degradasi.[4] WSL 1 dimulai pada April, sementara WSL 2 dimulai pada Februari.[4]

Sepuluh tim berkompetisi di edisi ini.[2] Brighton & Hove Albion mendapatkan promosi setelah mengalahkan Sporting Club Albion pada babak play-off Liga Utama musim 2015–2016.[6][7] Dengan dibubarkannya Notts County pada April 2017, satu tim mendapatkan promosi ke WSL 1 pada akhir edisi ini berdasarkan evaluasi klub pendaftar lisensi yang dinilai dari rencana bisnis, pengembangan kelompok usia, fasilitas, dan performa permainan.[8]
