Forbidden Planet (juga dikenal sebagai Fatal Planet)[3] adalah sebuah film fiksi ilmiah Amerika 1956 dari MGM, diproduksi oleh Nicholas Nayfack, digarap oleh Fred M. Wilcox dan dibintangi oleh Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis dan Leslie Nielsen. Dibuat dalam bentuk Eastmancolor dan CinemaScope, film tersebut dianggap merupakan salah satu film fiksi ilmiah besar pada 1950an,[4] dan pendahulu dari perfilman fiksi ilmiah kontemporer. Para karakter dan latar terisolasi berbanding dengan hal-hal dalam The Tempest karya William Shakespeare.[5] Alurnya terdiri dari analog-analog kisah tertentu pada drama tersebut.
