Ilya Repin

Ilya Yefimovich[1] Repin (bahasa Rusia: Илья Ефимович Репин; bahasa Finlandia: Ilja Jefimovitš Repin; bahasa Ukraina: Ілля Юхимович Рєпін; 5 Agustus [K.J.: 24 Juli] 1844 – 29 September 1930) adalah seorang pelukis realitas Rusia kelahiran Ukraina.[2] Ia adalah salah satu sinema Rusia paling terkenal pada abad ke-19, saat posisinya dalam dunia seni rupa sebanding dengan Leo Tolstoy dalam sastra. Ia memainkan peran besar dalam mengirimkan kesenian Rusia ke dalam arus utama budaya Eropa. Karya-karya besarnya meliputi Barge Haulers on the Volga (1873), Religious Procession in Kursk Province (1883) dan Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks (1880–1891).
