John Douglas Cockcroft

Sir John Douglas Cockcroft (27 Mei 1897 – 18 September 1967 ) adalah fisikawan Britania yang bersama dengan, Ernest Walton, memecahkan inti atom. Untuk karya ini, mereka menerima Penghargaan Nobel dalam Fisika 1951.
