Kekaisaran Hun
Kekaisaran Hun adalah konfederasi suku Hun dari Asia Tengah. Melalui kombinasi persenjataan yang maju, mobilitas yang besar dan taktik lapangan, mereka mencapai keunggulan militer terhadap musuh mereka.[1] Muncul dari Sungai Volga beberapa tahun setelah pertengahan abad ke-4, mereka menghancurkan Alani yang menduduki daratan antara Volga dan sungai Don, dan dengan cepat menjatuhkan kekaisaran Ostrogoth antara Don dan Dniester. Pada tahun 376 mereka menaklukan Visigoth yang tinggal di Romania dan tiba di Danubia di Kekaisaran Romawi.[2] Raja mereka yang terkenal adalah Atilla.
