Dinasti Pala
Dinasti Pala adalah dinasti Buddha yang berkuasa dari Benggala. Nama Pala berarti pelindung. Gopala adalah penguasa pertama dinasti ini. Ia mulai berkuasa pada tahun 750 setelah terpilih melalui sebuah pemilihan demokratis. Dinasti ini berlangsung selama empat abad (750-1120 AD).
