North by Northwest adalah sebuah film cerita seru Amerika 1959 yang disutradarai oleh Alfred Hitchcock dan dibintangi oleh Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint dan James Mason.[2] Skenarionya dibuat oleh Ernest Lehman, yang ingin menulis "film Hitchcock untuk mengakhiri seluruh film Hitchcock".[3]
North by Northwest sekarang dianggap menjadi salah satu film Hitchcock yang menonjol dan sering dianggap sebagai salah satu film terbaik sepanjang masa.[4][5][6] Pada 1995, film tersebut terpilih untuk penyajian dalam Pendaftaran Film Nasional Amerika Serikat oleh Perpustakaan Kongres karena "signifikan secara budaya, sejarah, atau aestetik."
