Puasa Jumat

Puasa Jumat adalah sebuah praktek Kristen dari pantangan daging hewan pada hari Jumat, atau mengadakan puasa pada hari Jumat, yang giat dilakukan dalam tradisi-tradisi Ortodoks Timur,[1] Katolik, Anglikan dan Methodist.[2][3] Menurut Paus Petrus dari Aleksandria, puasa Jumat dilakukan untuk memperingati penyaliban Yesus Kristus pada Jumat Agung.[1]
