Stanley Turrentine

Stanley William Turrentine (5 April 1934 – 12 September 2000 ) adalah seorang pemain saksofon tenor jazz asal Amerika. Dia memulai karirnya bermain R&B untuk Earl Bostic dan kemudian soul jazz rekaman untuk label Blue Note dari tahun 1960, menyentuh jazz fusion selama bertugas di CTI pada tahun 1970-an.[1] Dia dideskripsikan oleh kritikus Steve Huey sebagai "terkenal karena nada khasnya yang tebal, beriak dan yang membumi pada blues."[2]
