The Tornado adalah sebuah film koboi pendek Amerika Serikat tahun 1917 yang disutradarai dan ditulis oleh John Ford.[1][2][3][4][5] Film tersebut adalah film debut Ford sebagai sutradara,[6] (sebelumnya ia menyutradarai film-film dengan saudaranya Francis Ford) saat ia baru berusia 22 tahun,[7] namun terkadang The Trail of Hate (1917) dianggap sebagai film perdana.[1]
