Pada sensus tahun 2010, populasinya mencapai 8,930.[1] county seat berada di kota Ashburn.[2] County ini didirikan tanggal 18 Agustus 1905, dan dinamakan oleh Henry Gray Turner, U.S. representative dan Hakim Georgia state Supreme Court.
