Čelákovice has the largest vampire graveyard in the world. In 1966 a homeowner on the outskirts of town needed to expand his house. Digging in his backyard, the shovel struck bone. Thinking it could be a recent murder victim, he called the authorities. Bone experts arrived and determined the skeleton was hundreds of years old, so they called an archeologist.[2]
